In the U.S. News & World Report's Future of the Medicine Issue this month, Methodist Hospital in Houston and St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital, were highlighted for their use of innovative healthcare technologies.
At Methodist Hospital, remote rounding via the RP-7® robot allows medical teams to 'see' and 'read' patient vital signs, without distrubting extremely ill patients in intensive care. Neurology specialists with St. Joseph Mercy Oakland use Remote Presence in hospitals across the state of Michigan to aid in early diagnosis and treatment of stroke victims.
