Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer will work under the general supervision of the EVP of Research and Development; this position will help develop the next generation of remote presence robots.
Responsibilities
* Design, evaluate structural, body and drive components for mobile robotic platforms
* Troubleshoot and improve existing mechanical designs
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
* Experience with many mechanical manufacturing processes
* Must work effectively in a team environment
* Experience taking products from concept to production
* Expert in SolidWorks CAD system
* Strong written and verbal communication, documentation and prioritization skills required
* Proficiency in the construction of prototypes and evaluation of them for form, fit and function
Qualifications
* 3-5 years experience in electro-mechanical design, analysis and documentation
* BSME
