IT Technician
The IT Technician will work under the general supervision of the Director of IT and will assist with the daily IT operations for all Company personnel.
Responsibilities
* Hardware & Software installation, troubleshooting, upgrades and repairs
* Hardware & Software analysis and evaluation
* Provide technical support and problem solving to end-users
* Provide data communications support
* Installation and maintenance of network connections (physical, network and application layer)
* Assist with network security
* Helpdesk and remote access support
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
* Windows XP Pro, MS Server operating system setup, settings, diagnostics, common problem resolutions, repair
new operating systems
* Knowledge of TCPIP protocol and LAN networking is required.
* Knowledge of MS Office Applications is required.
* Knowledge of PC and printer hardware is required.
* Experience with MS Exchange Server, MS SQL Server, Cisco Routers and VPN concentrators, HTML, ASP, SQL,
Wi-Fi Protocols are all a plus.
Qualifications
* 2 years computer/networking experience or an AS in Computer Science or other relevant certifications
