INTOUCH HEALTH® HOSTS 3RD ANNUAL FORUM
ON CLINICAL INNOVATIONS IN REMOTE HEALTHCARE
Santa Barbara, CA, July 16, 2008 - InTouch Technologies, Inc (d.b.a InTouch Health), the world leader in Remote Presence healthcare solutions, today announced that it will host the Third Annual Remote Presence Clinical Innovations Forum from July 17-19, 2008 in Santa Barbara, California.
Physicians, hospital executives and allied health professionals from around the world will formally present their clinical findings on patient outcomes, clinical experiences and process efficiencies related to their use of Remote Presence technology. Through these presentations, forum attendees will be able to expand their vision for how Remote Presence is changing the delivery of healthcare. The panel of speakers will address topics such as telestroke, outreach, critical care, emergency medicine and surgical proctoring.

Gordon Bell, Ph.D., of Microsoft will deliver the keynote address, “Technology Transitions Seem to Take Forever.” Dr. Bell was the VP of Research and Development at Digital Equipment Corp. in the 1970's, where he was responsible for some of the top selling computers of that time. He is currently a principal researcher with Microsoft eSciences Research Group.
InTouch Health Chairman & CEO, Yulun Wang, Ph.D., will lead a presentation and vision cast demonstration, where attendees will witness firsthand the future of healthcare delivery - a healthcare delivery network for anytime, anywhere patient care.
